About Heath Wise, M.A.

Heath Wise, M.A. is a professional counselor and a certified clinical sexual addiction specialist who works with the North Atlanta Center for Christian Counseling in Atlanta, Georgia. She works as a counselor with Faithful and True Atlanta , a ministry dedicated to providing resources for male sexual addicts, female sexual addicts, spouses (both male and female) of sexual addicts, and couples in recovery from sexual addiction. This is one of the few programs in the United States that also provides resources for the entire family, including teens (male and female) who struggle with sexual compulsivity.

Heath began her career as a lay counselor at her church working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She then earned a masters in professional counseling with a specialization in sex therapy from the Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. She lectures on the subject of sexual addiction, sexual trauma and abuse as well as healthy sexuality at professional conferences, churches and schools.

Heath recently moved to Northern California to work with an organization that helps runaways and trafficked women and children. She continues to work with Faithful and True Atlanta as a therapist for the marriage retreats and addiction recovery workshops that they offer around the country.
