Dear Brothers and Sisters;

Thank you for coming to this webpage and considering the support of my work. Depending on our relationship, you may or may not know the details of my walk into L.I.F.E. Ministries International.  I would like to give God the glory and briefly state my journey here.

I was raised in a dysfunctional, alcoholic, physically and emotionally abusive and yet Christian home.  As the youngest of four children, we were ushered into the modeled behaviors of codependency and addiction.  Without knowledge of a definition, I was a sex addict from puberty, I married an addict and after twenty years the marriage imploded, I returned to my promiscuity and God intervened.   Restoration is the ‘rest’ of this wonderful story.  Although this brief testimony doesn’t detail the pain and anxiety that was under the surface, I assure you that God rescued me with His mighty outstretched arm much like He has done and desires to do for other strugglers throughout the world.   

On the professional side, God’s hand has always been on my career taking me up through the ranks of sales and marketing with several large and credible firms but not without first digging in the trenches three times as the first female to work in uncharted male territories in the early 80’s. 

Relating my story is beneficial to help understand how God has uniquely gifted me for this ministry’s service.    I am blessed with a perspective as a female addict, as a spouse of an addict and I comprehend pioneering.   After years of facilitating a support group and praying for an open door for service, in December 2007, the Lord orchestrated my exodus into fulltime ministry.   Until July ’08, when I was introduced to L.I.F.E. Ministries Int’l., I ministered independently.  L.I.F.E. and I prayerfully joined forces as we are in unity of vision and mission.  My work with L.I.F.E. is to expand and enhance our impact.  The Lord raises my support to fulfill this mission.    I believe so strongly that I am doing what God has appointed that I trust Him to prompt those whom He desires to move on my behalf to do so. 

The sex addiction ministry is uncharted to say the least.  As a global society, we are addicted to sex; it’s our socially acceptable drug of choice.  Sex addiction is our #1 secret and thankfully God has given L.I.F.E. Ministries’ credible, biblical workbook materials to minister to the sexually broken.

The vision of L.I.F.E. Ministries International is to multiply and plant recovery support group ministries throughout the globe, raising an army that comforts in the way they were comforted and teaches the truth of God’s word, reconciling man to God.  We at L.I.F.E. Ministries deeply desire your prayers on behalf of this ministry.  We have much to do and need many leaders at every level as well as funding to implement major projects. 

I pray that our Lord impresses your heart to support this work and L.I.F.E.
